  •  If your talking politics in class with someone else do yourself a favor, don't overreact.  I did the other day and it was a little embarassing and a tad rude.  More than anything the way I reacted to the person was a sense of I made her felt like she was totally clueless in what she was talking about, that I knew way more about politics(which I don't) than she did.  She made a comment Monday that Clinton trashed Bush during the weekend, and I said no he didn't.  If that was the worst part I wouldn't of felt bad, but later I made a very rude comment that I didn't think she knew anything about politics.  Which was totally and way out of line.  I felt so guilty the rest of the class, I did end up apologizing at the end of class(I hope she accepted my apology).  Anyway I'm sure most of you think I'm the rudest person in the world I'm not I actually respected her desent, but what I said came out wrong. I'm not normally like that and I really and honestly felt bad!  I learned from my mistake and I hopefully you will not follow it. We all have a right to our opinion in this country.

Did any of you see the Phil Donahue vs Bill O'Reilly shoot out on The O'Reilly Factor?  Probably the highlight was when Donahue asked him would you send your son or daughter to fight in Iraq and O'Reilly got angry and said I have a nephew who is fighting over there and he was very blunt and was very mad at the way Donahue was acting.  Also Donahue mentioned Jeremy Glick(someone who I thought should of been booted off the show when he appeared) and was talking about the way that interview went down, O'Reilly backed up his position.  That's some of the highlights.  If you saw it tell me what you think.  Donahue's positions are a bit out there and O'Reilly's anger was real so as O'Reilly would say to you let's say you.

  • So I have decided you are a much nicer person that I am. Ok, that or it is because I don't really feel bad for telling people when they are wrong... Thanks for saying I am always happy. I am for the most part, I just get irritated with people and tend to tell them. I do not believe in holding emotions inside. I hope you are feeling better because she is either going to accept your apology (because you were sincere) or she knows she was wrong and is still bitter that you said something about it.
