Hi all. My Red Sox take game one of there series aganist the Yankees. So there tied with 2 games to go. Baring a one game playoff. Of course they could sneak in the wild card if Clevland falters aganist Chicago in the next two games. I want first place and I don't want the Yankees in the playoffs. I hate the Yankees and let them watch from the sidelines for once. Plus it would be nice to see the Red Sox win it again, of course last year was so amazing and all especially coming back and defeating the Yankees from a 3-0 decefit. I'll see, I hope for the best if they falter and aren't in the playoffs, well I'll think about that later.
Anyway several political notes, John Roberts got nominated with a 78-22 vote(all the no votes were Democrats). Anyway he basically was replacing a conservative in Rehenquist so that's not surprising. But Bush is likely to pick a strong conservative to replace Sandra Day O'Connor, but O'Connor was a moderate so it will be a much tighter vote than Roberts vote. The nominee will still get approved because Republicans control 55 of the 100 Senate seats. The only question is by how much will the margin be. Time will tell.
Also Judge Alvin Halberstein ruled that the Pentagon had to release the Abu Grahib photos. The Pentagon didn't respond to the ruiling. Anyway what a ridiculous ruiling, we've been through this Abu Grahib saga before, we've seen the stories, why do we have to relieve it again for no reason. It was wrong at the time and we rightly went after the people who did the wrong doing, it was a disgusting action and we dealt with it. The disgusting organization ACLU are all for this ruiling, what else is new they are always on the side of the wrongdoers not the victims. Do you remember them sticking up for NAMBLA for the murder of the 9 year old child Jeffrey Curley. That's beside the point. But in all likelihood the Supreme Court will overrule the decision. Anyway I feel it's wrong. Hope everyone's doing well. I got schoolwork to do and I'll check in with you in the beginning of the week. Hope you all are doing great and you all are enjoying life. It's ok for me, nothing exiciting. Until later see ya.

I'm all for the Indians : )
Unfortunately, since moving to Boston I've seemed to bring good luck to the Red Sox and the Patriots...that's right, it's all me.
