  •   Who thinks these current scandals going on in Washigntion have an validity or do you think there hogwash?  The scandals I'm talking about range from Tom Delay, Bill Frist, and Karl Rove.  Frist's charges are very petty and there's nothing to them.  Delay, well the DA Ronnie Earle did say at a Democratic fundraser that he was going to get Tom Delay. He's gone after the same amount of Republicans as he has Democrats.  Even though he's being charged and it might damage him maybe politically he won't be convicted.  Rove is a little more complicted, I think we can rule out the fact that the charges of him outing a CIA operative, but the charges seem to be based on perjury.  You have two reporters who will testify Judith Miller and Matt Cooper. Scooter Libby will testify as well.  This has possibily the most damaging implications, it's complicated and he could very well be convicted, I'm not sure, though I do think it might politically  hurt him and the Republican base.  By the way for you Hilary Clinton fans and nonHilary Clinton fans, there are two books that are out.  For you Hilary fans there's the book The Case for Hilary Clinton by Susan Estrich and for you nonHilary Clinton fans, Dick Morris has a book called Condi vs Hilary, a book about how Codelezza Rice could beat Hilary in a presidential matchup in 2008.  Take your pick one tells why she could win(Estrich's book) and the other is one in which she could be defeated.  I'm not the biggest Hilary fan but she sure is an intriguing figure, mostly because she's married to Bill Clinton. The 2008 election may be 3 years away but the case for Hilary and the case to beat her is already taking into effect.
