Well 16 teams left in the NCAA college basketball tournament. All 4 #1 seeds(Duke, Connecticut, Memphis, and Villanova) are still alive, never has all 4 #1 seeds made it together to the final four, don't think it will happen this year. Most bets are the final game will be between Duke and Connecticut with Connecticut winning. I have no favorites in the tournament, though I did pick UCLA to face Connecticut in the final game with UCLA winning it all, so I go aganist slight conventional wisdom. You still have other top teams like Gonzaga, Texas, LSU, and Boston College left. College basketball may not be among my top sports(Major League Baseball and college football are) but they do have the best championship out there among any of the sports.
Also my Boston Red Sox will start their season soon(minus Johnny Damon who went to the Yankees, god I can't stand them). Anyway they still have the one-two punch of David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez and they did pick up young phenom A.J. Burnett from the Florida Marlins to help there starting pitching, there middle relief looks solid, with some questions with closer with Keith Foulke. It's still hard to tell whether Coco Crisp can do an adequate job in replacing Damon as their leadoff hitter, and the starting pitching while strong does have a couple of question marks, in David Wells and Curt Schilling's injuries and plus their in their 40s. Hopefully everything will work out and it will be a great '06 for my Sox or maybe not. But no doubt they'll be a contender like always. Ok, I know I probably bored you out of your mine talking about sports like that's really something that's engaging, we'll pretend for me that it is anyway LOL.

Did you watch the Texas game last night? I was at a bar right across the street from campus with hundreds of other students. I can't believe that shot went in! What a thiller! Hook 'Em Horns!!! I can smell another championship brewing. "Texas Longhorns= baseball, football, and basketball champions"- now that has a nice sound to it! You never know what could happen. I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks.
