  • Hey all, a couple of year anniversaries this week.  Today was the anniversary of Pope John Paul II death and Friday was when Terri Schiavo passed away. We all know the significance of the deaths and the political misuse by politicians of one of the occasions. I don't want to rehash, because I've gone over it before just to give you something to think about. Also my birthday is this Thursday, also something to keep in mind. Hope everyone's doing great and I'm over that little incident I spoke about, so I'm doing good. Hope to here from everyone.

  • Opening day is supposed to be the most exciting day when everyone believes that their team can truly do something great.  Sorry to be a good fan and have that excitement.  Screw the Red Sox.  You know one thing Texas has that Boston doesn't have?  Good, southern fans!

  • I have to abide by Sigma Kappa guidelines and it isn't right of me to talk badly about my sisters even if we didn't have those rules. I just don't like it when people make a big deal about having to follow guidelines that are set into place so our sorority isn't poorly represented. Talking about having "Power Hour" at the same time as talking about going to formal just reinforces the stereotype that sorority girls just get drunk all of the time, which we don't. Thank you for supporting me though!! I don't really get that at times!

  • Haha, yeah sorry.  I was having a bad day.  I've got a lot going on right now with school and my sorority, and then to have us lose on opening day just pushed me over the top I guess.  Sorry I was in a bad mood.  Hopefully after my test at 9:30 I'll be happier.
