I feel like such a bonehead today I confused the times of my classes and I ended up being late. I confused my 6 pm Spanish class with the class I take today Issues in American Politics which is at 5:30 pm (I also take it Thursday). I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this or at least I hope I'm not. By the way anyone who has appeared on this site knows which class I have to take and the class that I enjoy. By the way I always like new vistors to my site I'm always doubting whether people like coming or not. But that's just me being a tad sensitive, trust me if there's one fault of mine it's my sensitivity.
Anyway tonight George Bush will address the nation at 9 pm tonight from New Orleanes the site of the Hurricane Katrina disaster. People (mostly the media) tend to forget about the destruction in Mississippi that will take years to rebuild. Of course Louisana had the most destruction, but go over to Mississippi and there life is in shambles as well. So this hurricane to me is not a one state storm its a two state. We the people know that to bad the media is clueless to it. Though I will say Joe Scarbourough has done a great job covering what fellow Mississippians have gone through he is one of the few who hasn't forgotten. Anyway on to the speech(I'll give analysis of it either tomorrow or Saturday), he will focus on issues like education, health care, and housing. He'll probably get into as well the impact of the Hurricane and the failures of relief from the state and local as well as government. Alot of people are saying it's one of his most important speeches. Bush has taken responsibility for mistakes made, so has the governor. Basically I wonder what you want to hear, what do you want Bush to say? To me Bush is in a make or break spot and only he controls where his fate is, either good or bad. If he screws up he can't blame anybody but him, but if he succeeds then he should get a pat on the back. Me I'm very skeptical, Bill O'Reilly said he can either become a great president or go down in the likes of Harding and William Taft. Who knows maybe this speech will be an indicator.

I have yet to actually hear him admit to any wrong-doing. But I haven't been following it very much. And I tend to disagree...in all I've seen, personal opinion and the opinion of many others...here in Boston and back home in Maryland...he's already broken.
Like I said, I find it all to coincidental that he "takes responsibility" just as his popularity rating takes an all-low dive. It truly wouldn't surprise me if he did it for that reason. I mean, after all, the plan would have worked simply because many people are saying, "Oh. He is so honest. You see, he isn't a bad guy after all." I think it was a damn good plan especially if his popularity rating goes up.
Anyway, I didn't care about his speech. I never watch his speeches because he pisses me off. Just looking at him pisses me off. I was mostly pissed because they cut off last seasons episode of CSI: Las Vegas and I never got to watch it. Now, don't get me wrong. It is important for our government to help the people who survived this disaster. I would rather flip on the news station and see what progress is being made than to listen to one of his boring ass speeches. If the government has a plan, great! Instead of talking about it....DO IT! LOL!
Anyway, don't feel bad about screwing up your schedule. I have done that before. Matter-o-fact, the other day, I walked into the wrong classroom and sat down. When the teacher came in the room, I was like....OOOOPS! I ran out of there so embarassed. Anyway, it happens...even to the best of us.
Haha!! You are so funny!!! How do you like living in Florida? I grew up there. (Kissimmee if you care) I don't write as much about my dad anymore. I think I am handling me being off at school much better now. If you want to know more about a Father/Daughter relationship you should read up on Freud's Electra Concept. If you already have, the answer is NO! I don't believe everything when it comes to the girls secretly wanting to get rid of their mothers so they can be with their father, but I do believe that the strongest bond a girl can ever have is with her dad. Always remember that when you are with a girl because it is hard for most guys to accept that they will never be as important to the girl as their daddy. I hope that I don't come off as too much of a nerd... You take care and keep being awesome!! (By the way, I was not offended by you. I debated for 3 years, so I don't think you even came close to over reacting!)
